Hair Models Event Day

We are looking for models for a free colour, haircut and blowdry for our qualified hairdressers, please see details below:


Models must be willing to allow the hairdresser to cut and colour their hair in accordance with the needs of the salon, but haircut styles will be wearable not high fashion catwalk hairstyles. Colour will include a combination of all over colour and foil highlights/lowlights with unique colour effects and cutting techniques. All the hairdressers are qualified to at least NVQ2, and most have experienced advanced cutting and colouring courses also.


The basic hairstyles we want to create are:

• A short layered haircut
  
• A short graduated sleek bob haircut
  
• A long layered haircut, with bounce and curl (not permed)
  
• A long layered haircut styled with hair pieces/'temporary' extentions

• Hair colours: blondes, reds, dark/very-dark brown, light-mid brown

Models agree to videos and photos being taken and these being used to promote the work of the salon and hairdressers.


The models day will be on 5th April between 11.30am and 4pm. There will be no charge for the haircut and colour.  Lunch will be provided.  


A skin test will be required 48hrs before the service and prospective models will also need to come into the salon beforehand to check if their hair is suitable for creating one of the desired hairstyles.  Only one model is required for each hairstyle and the salon's decision on the model will be final.
